mushishi - mushi

I've already got my towel and everything...

The things that strike you when you're trying to write an essay are interesting. Right now I feel like protesting the injustice that we here in Sweden have another month and a half or so to wait before we can see The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which everyone else in the world but me has already seen. This is very sad and unfair. ;_;

Though Sweden makes up for the suckiness of that late movie release by being absolutely stunningly gorgeous right now. Nothing feels so good as warm sunlight on your face after six months of very wintery conditions. And the returning daylight is taking over most of the night too, now. Soon it'll be up until after 10 PM, and rise again around 3.30 AM. Mmm. Good times for us night owls! ^_^

It feels very strange to experience this, and love it so much, and know that I won't be here to see it next year... But I've heard Kyoto is a beautiful city, and I've always wanted to see Japan in the spring, so I'm not complaining. It's a weird little feeling, but nothing that will change my mind about my exchange year.
