I bought the second Odoru Daisousasen movie today. I never buy movies. But Odoru owns me. ^^;;

I had a few seconds of buyer's regret, and then I opened the pretty box and found not just one, but two shiny discs in it, and pretty pictures of the cast (Aoshima, stop being so cute!), and then I squeed and flailed and... I've got it bad. So bad.

...the First Movie DVD claims that the Second Movie's remastered version has "previously unseen scenes". I got the remastered version. Sitting up now to check if I can spot those new scenes is not a good idea, right? Right. Thought so. Stupid needing sleep.

In other news, I now have a fangirl o-mamori. Which is a real o-mamori, but also fannish. Because I visited Seimei Jinja and got one. Seimei Jinja, dedicated to Abe no Seimei, where they've got posters from the Onmyouji movie up. Pretty much in the shrine, yes. And also posters from the new anime Shounen Onmyouji. I'm so, so amused. Oh, Japan! ♥

Oh, you know what? You know the wooden plaques that they attach to the lucky arrows on New Year's Eve? I have one of those plaques with a chibi Sanzo on it! XD

Yes, I know... and they... The... With Sanzo... WOW. Yes. Japan. Oh, Japan. ♥ (I guess - well. He's a monk? But also the worst monk EVER, and also - aren't those from shrines, not temples and... Oh. I should just stop being surprised by these things. It is, after all, Japan. But that's still kind of - wow.)

I think I actually bought this thing in an Animate store, which may be thought of as a shrine or temple of sorts, although not an official one... ! I'd be happy to take a photo of it and post it. It's really gosh-darn cute.

And yes, you're right, they're from shrines, not temples. I totally ignored that part, being a dumb American. :P <3

I just wish I'd known about the Seimei shrine when I was actually in Japan. Blah.

What awesome movies though, and I love the manga too.
