I totally feel you there. I personally think all the female charas who've ever appeared on Supernatural were quite decent-in fact, I quite liked the lady with the haunted painting who had a thing for Sam, and the girl Dean left behind, the one he had a history with-

They're nowhere near half as bad as Lana Lang, that's for sure. ~.~ I cannot stand that woman.

For Babes of the Week, they've been quite above average. There's only so much you can do with a one-shot character, no matter their gender. The sheriff from Benders (the ep with the people-hunting rednecks) was awesome, and I really did like Sarah from the haunted-painting ep. Some of the others chicks stand out as well - the girl in Asylum, who could use a shotgun and dumped her boyfriend for being dumb enough to bring her to a haunted building on a date; the girl in Wendigo who was hell-bent on getting her missing brother back; and of course Missouri... Actually, I withdraw the "quite"! They're way above average! Which isn't to say average couldn't get better, but Supernatural is doing pretty well in that department.

I haven't watched much Supernatural - maybe half a season - and I still hated Lana Lang. But she's incredibly badly written - she's a frickin' Mary Sue! And one who always plays the role of damsel in distress, which just makes it worse. She's perfect. Perfect people are not interesting. And again - so badly written. Ugh. One of the main reasons I didn't watch more Smallville was that I couldn't stand her...
